Don’t have a flabby middle

 

When you write a novel it is important to make sure the middle doesn’t go south or become flabby. Editors and agents love to be grabbed on page 1. If by page 75 you still have them engaged, you are truly making your mark. You want to treat every page, sentence, and chapter as the most interesting part of the story. This simply means, every word is more important than the last one.
